Efektivitas Kombinasi Pupuk Kandang Kambing dan Pupuk Anorganik NPK dalam Meningkatkan Efisiensi Penggunaan Hara dan Hasil Jagung (Zea mays L.) di Tanah Ultisol

Abstract
Peningkatan populasi global mendesak peningkatan produktivitas jagung di lahan sub-optimal, seperti ultisol yang masam dan miskin hara, sembari memitigasi dampak lingkungan dari pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan dosis kombinasi pupuk kandang kambing (pukan) dan NPK terbaik untuk meningkatkan efisiensi hara dan hasil jagung. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari lima taraf perlakuan dan setiap taraf diulang sebanyak lima kali, sehingga diperoleh 25 satuan percobaan. Hasil menunjukkan perlakuan kombinasi (P3 dan P4) memberikan pengaruh terhadap serapan dan efisiensi hara. Secara signifikan, perlakuan P4 (50% NPK + 100% Pukan) menghasilkan serapan N tertinggi (107,64 kg N ha-1), sekaligus menunjukkan efisiensi penggunaan N, P, dan K yang optimal. Keunggulan ini disebabkan oleh peran pukan yang memperbaiki sifat kimia tanah. Pukan berhasil meningkatkan pH tanah dan Kapasitas Tukar Kation (KTK), sehingga mengatasi masalah fiksasi Fosfor (P) dan pencucian Kalium (K) yang menjadi kendala utama ultisol. Secara agronomi, perlakuan P4 menghasilkan berat pipil tertinggi (3.400-3.500 kg/ha) yang setara dengan perlakuan P3. Penelitian menyimpulkan substitusi 50% dosis NPK dengan pupuk kandang kambing adalah strategi yang efisien dan berkelanjutan untuk budidaya jagung di lahan ultisol.
